Then I have added a new contact form by clicking on the left-hand side menu "add" button, and I have chosen "contact and forms" Then I have made a few changes in my form. I did this by clicking on "settings" I went to "design" then to "Header and Paragraph" then "Header 1 style & colour" and then i change font to "Georgia" and font size to 60px.

Afterwards I have added my image to "contact page" by clicking on "+" then went to "image" from there to "upload & import" and then I clicked on "upload images" and finally "upload from computer". Thereafter I have added text by again clicking on "+" than "image" and then "themed text".

Next, I have added "social bar" by clicking on "+" then "social" next "social bar" and I have chosen social bar which was most fitted to my "Cycle of Life" project. Then I set social links by adding "blogger icon" and remove unnecessary ones. Then I have added my social web links to these icons by pressing every single icon and then I have pasted one by one my addresses.

Then I saved my project by clicking on top of the page on "save" and then I checked my page by clicking on "Preview".

This is my major project plan "Cycle of Life". I created this on Visme as infographic.

Creating Website: About Page

Adrian’s  Bio

Adrian Mazurkiewicz is a young student from Poland who has always loved creating. At the age of 24, he decided to leave his home country to look for new opportunities and develop his passions in the UK. His love for creating is stronger after his time in the Amazon jungle. Drawing, painting, pyrography, and origami are just a few of his skills. Moreover  one of his passions is tattooing. Adrian is mostly covered in tattoos, with designs from around the world like Cuba, Peru, Poland, England, and Netherlands. He wants to keep improving his skills in creating arts and tattooing.

One of Adrian’s role models is Leonardo da Vinci. What he likes most about Leonardo is that he was not only a painter but also engineer and astrologer that combination  made him a genius, which Adrian would to be. Adrian has chosen “Fine Art” as his main progression route. One of his life mottos is Da’Vinci  quote: “"Poor is the pupil who does not surpass his master."

I nearly finised about page I will upgreade it later.

I have checked my mobile view on my about page.

When I sourced a good image that I could use I changed the picture so my final About page looks as below:

This seems to work quite well and I thought was consistent with the page design. I also checked the mobile view

Creating a Website: Fine Art

Today, I started creating a website on Wix as part of my progression route in 'Fine Art.'

At the beginning i chose a template with Wix which was the most fitting to the art theme.

I changed few elements such as the default font to the “Georgia” font in the navigation menu by clicking on the bar and then clicking on “edit text” and than “fonts”  after that I customized the navigation bar by clicking on “design” than I clicked on "navigation menu" and I clicked "hide” from the “menu" on  "selected work" .Next I unhide the “Home icon”  by clicking on this icon and chosing “unhide”. After that using the mouse I changed the position of the icons on the navigation bar. Then I changed the text to Art & Design by clicking and editing the text.

Next I started changing the background so I clicked in the center of project and then I selected “change background” then i chose an image from “wix images”.

Afterwards I relized I had changed the background but not the main background only the module background.
So I clicked on this element and deleted it by selecting delete. I also changed the copyright text by clicking on it and than i choosing “edit text” and after that i entered my full name and i set date for 2024.

I moved forward to top backgrounds designs. First I changed the background behind the navigation bar by clicking on it selecting “change background” and than I chose the colour I wanted. I experimented with a few different colours and various settings.

When I finally figured out how to change the main background I did it by choosing the middle icon as you can see in the picture below and than I chose one of the free image from wix images.

Finally, I saved the project by clicking on "save". before It i clicked on “Preview” at the top to check how it looked.

I am now going to look and edit my mobile version of page. I didn't take a screenshot to show how its looks at the beginning, but I can describe what I did to make the view by phone looks good. Firstly, I didn't have the "mobile menu" button but after few minutes I realize I got it in "hidden in menu" category in tool bar on the left so I clicked on it and then I unhide it. After that I change background image for my own. I reposition everything to looks more clearly.

After that I saved and previewed my page to check how its look.

Gustav Klimt The Cycle of Life

As part of my project “Cycle of Life,” I will begin my research with Gustav Klimt, one of the artists focused on creating pieces about life and death. His works can inspire deeper reflection on our existence. The painting by Gustav Death and Life (1908-1915) is one such piece in which the artist portrays the dualism of life and death. On the left side, we see the figure of Death, symbolizing the opposite of life and the end, while on the right side, surrounded by bright colours, are diverse figures representing life. As noted by WidowCranky(2017), “Klimt has created this extraordinary work, which seems to encompass the base of our existence, along with our own personification of death.” This message is significant in the context of my project, where I explore these two aspects of human experience.

*I wrote it in polish and i used translator for few sentence: here is my version without translator:

Death and Life (1905) By Gustav Klimt

Another work that caught my attention is The Tree of Life (1905). The painting The Tree of Lifeserves as a metaphor for the cycle of life. Klimt depicts a tree with its spiral branches and rich details, symbolizing the connection of all forms of life.  “The Tree of Life is an important symbol used by many theologies, philosophies, and mythologies. It signifies the connection between heaven and earth and the underworld.” (Gustav-Klimt, 2024.) Inspired by this work, I plan to realize the concept of the cycle of life in my own pieces, showcasing its various stages and the emotions accompanying each of them.

*Another work ,which i looked is The Tree of Life (1905). Painting The Tree of Life is metaphore cycle of life. Klimt decipt tree with spirral wooden branches and rich details, symbolizing connection all forms of life, “The Tree of Life is an important symbol used by many theologies, philosophies, and mythologies. It signifies the connection between heaven and earth and the underworld.” (Gustav-Klimt, 2024.) This artworks inspire me to create concept cycle of life in my own artworks, showing details parts and emotions with evrysingle one

The Tree of Life, Stoclet Frieze, 1905 by Gustav Klimt

In another painting, likely one of Klimt’s last, titled The Bride (1918), we see a semi-naked female figure on the right half. “When Klimt died, an unfinished painting entitled The Bride was left in his studio. The right half was dominated by a semi-naked female figure,” (Gustav-Klimt 2024.) which may indicate his sexual obsession. Sex gives rise to life, which can also be reflected in my works. I would to explore this connection between life and death by research how we move through the entire cycle of life and death.

*In antother work, propably one of the last one painted by Klimt, entitled The Bride (1918), on the right we can see half naked woman figure. “When Klimt died, an unfinished painting entitled The Bride was left in his studio. The right half was dominated by a semi-naked female figure,” (Gustav-Klimt 2024.) what might be indicate to his sexual obsession. Life is born from sex, what we can see in my artworks. I would like to research this relation between life and death researching how we moving through all cylce of life and death.

The Bride, 1918 by Gustav Klimt

I am inspired by the work of Gustav Klimt. I’m not entirely sure which specific images I will include in my digital pieces yet, but I have some ideas and reflections. I have done a few trial sketches, and I’m still learning the procreate. The following works were created on the iPad using this software.

PROJECT SIGN OFF: CYCLE OF LIFE

I have now finalised my project and this, in my case, has been signed off. Below is a series of images from Hans Bandung who also painted human as a child ,as an adult , with death and all cycle of life on one picture.  Below is one of works Hans Bandung “The Ages of Woman and Death”‘Death has taken hold of an older woman who is in turn trying to pull along a voluptuous young woman who seems to be resisting. Death holds an hourglass and a broken lance, on the lower tip of which a dead child rests its hand. In the distance behind the dead tree is a desolate landscape with the tower of Hell and devils tormenting people.’ (hoakley, 2020) Further paintings, such as Nativity, 1516, depict an infant. In my work, I will also draw an infant in the first image. Then, there is the figure of an adult woman in Eve, c. 1525-1526, which I will also add to my series. Finally, there is the painting titled The Walk to Death, which represents the entire cycle in one image. In my series, I will also include the teenage stage and old age.

SMART Objective: Life Cycle

This is my SMART objective for this term.  I will be showing series digital art works of Life Cycles and the works I will makeb on ipad pro using Procreate software in the manner of Hans Baldung.

In my Fine Art project I will be creating this term in Digital Arts a series of digital paintings with theme "Life Cycles". I plan to paint using procreate on an ipad pro, which I am learning how to use , these images will be colourful and will be on the concept of the life cycle. I will create a digital book or flipbook (but I'm not yet sure which program to use)  which will be added to my digital Portfolio on my website. This will be completed by 10th December 2024.

Major Project: Initial Ideas

It is my main project in Digital Arts. This time i would like to create a series of digital artworks using my ipad pro. The only guidelines I have are:

“Fine Art encompasses all kinds of traditional and digital skills. For this project, you can use photography or digital drawing/painting software to create a collection of work on a strong theme. This can then be a gallery portfolio on your website.”

I will draw something. I have never drawn figures or landscapes in digital form before. It should be a collection of images. The only thing that comes to mind is a collection of images about strong emotions.

Emotions have been with us forever
–Oscar Wilde”

Tears come from the heart and not from the brain. Leonardo da Vinci(BrainyQuote 2024)

Emotions are very importat in our lifes and a lot of people dont know how to contol their emotions.. A lot  of things influance this such as food ,environment , people aroud us,and our thoghts as well.

“If your emotional abilities aren’t in hand, if you don’t have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can’t have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far.” – Daniel Goleman (Paula, 2020)

I could also draw people from different environment:

On the other hand , I could always draw the four seasons.

Alternatively, the stages of human growth for example, as a child , as an adult, and as an old person. Furthermore, it could be three states of life of a plant or an animal… Or three different landscapes, for example desert, jungle, icy land. Or also city, village, forest.

* After some consideration, I decided on the idea of the “Life Cycle.” I could create a series of digital paintings including of about 4 - 6 digital painting. I could make it in two ways:

1. The first would showing of drawing a character in different stages of life in each image.

Actually, I could draw myself as a baby when I was born, then as a teenager, as an adult, and how I see myself in the future as an older man, and finally in a coffin or cremated in an urn.

(After thinking about it for a moment, drawing myself would be a good idea. It would show how things were, how they are, and how they will be, along with changes in the environment and the most important stages. I’m not sure yet how the timing will work out, but with this project, I could create more images.)

2. The second would showing of all the life cycles in a single image, for example, one showing the life cycle of a woman, another showing the life cycle of a man, and a third mixing both or in the third one, I could show the life cycle of a plant or an animal.

I have never painted digitally before, but I would like to use an ipad and the procreate software for this. I started using the ipad at the beginning of 2024. I want to learn to use procreate to its full potential because one of my hobbies is tattooing, and I know that mastering this app will be useful in my future career as a tattoo artist.

Final Advert & Reflection

Here is my final organic chocolate advert:

Reflection:

After class presentation I have made a few changes ,I made a logo bigger , after a presentation a lot of people commented my work and definitely the logo was unreadable. After i get back to home and immediately I have changed it. Next thing was the font of the slogan, it wasn't nice for eye, it looked bad, same as logo after a class I changed it.  Rest part of advert went well, especially after I checked it on golden ratio template.
