Today I started adding layer of primer before painting to make the surface of canvas smooth and good for paint. Below I leaving photo which depict the first layer of primer on the first canvas. For this task Sam gave me the primer and showed me how and in which proportions mix it with water and how to put in on to the canvas.
After I finished adding layer I hung it on to the wall but before this I used hammer to “beng” nail in to the wall as a holder for canvas
I painted all by primer and after that I leaved canvas to dry off and I went straight to MMA and BJJ training.
When training was finished I went back to English class and after straight back to Art Factory to put the second layer of primer. Below I leaving photo of canvas painted two times by primer.
*after few days I used sand paper to make canvas smooth.
Okay, you can follow this up when you start transferring your drawings to the canvas. Also, we will need to discuss the 3D element of your project in Week 6 to give you time to develop that idea and create your outcome.
