Firstly I started from doing quick sketch of my project.
(this is second photo of sketch depicting second and third painting, later I will add first one)
I changed my previous concept to create same place but in different times to one panoramic image with one specific place on each so the first painting depict train station, second cathedral and third a town hall.
As an inspiration I used this photos:
Koszalin Train station (1914-1917)
Koszalin Old Town Market Square, 1945 – photo from the private collection of Kacper Pencarski.

After that I moved on to sketching on canvas using white acrylic mixed with water, I chosen light colour to easily repaint it after when I make mistake.
Next I started from add first colours, I began by black and grey to others.
I painted windows before background (walls) and this was my first mistake. It was hard to paint around small windows, but I learn from this mistake and another painting I paint in different way. Same with the lamp, as you can see on painting... "I started from the wrong end".
So I painted point by point, trying to make top of the walls more darker to show the shadow from the roof... I moved on to the next canvas leaving first unfinished, the plan is to back to it later. So as before I began from sketching.
This time I remember my mistake when I started with the wrong end. So I started creating a buildings, my base.
Here I added more building and first details such as airplane.
I checked the connection between paintings to be sure, is that everything going to right way.
After I focused on details such as tuck, soldiers, cannon, smoke, cathedral etc...
Then I moved on to third canvas and as before I started from white as a sketch, firstly I made it oversized so I changed size of Town Hall and repaint it again little bit smaller.
After I finished while Im waiting to dry off I went to wood work to collect the wood for "PLINTH" which I stick it together, then paint etc I will move to it now because In same day I painted third painting and made base for the sculptures... So below I leaving the third painting UNFINISHED.
And also here I leaving the process of creating a flowers on third canvas
Below I leaving my painting at actually stage.
Day after finally I bought a brush set and than I used it straight away.
I used “ROUND” brush to paint a cars on my third painting and it was much better then previous one. I see a difference and feeling when I using it.
After that I add some black colour to contour around buildings etc. To give more contrast to my paintings.
Ok, good to see you have moved this on so much since I spoke to you. Might have been better to have split this over two posts (one for 2D one for 3D). Could you post your source material images that you are working from with your painting process to give an idea of what you are working from on each section of the mural?
